The core mission and commitment to our philosophy require the ability to work with the local community, and the desire to learn and grow. Our dedication to supporting our community is unparalleled. We help organizations from a broad spectrum of causes, including Animal Welfare, Homelessness, LGBT causes, Safehouse programs, Safe School Programs, Education, and Human Rights. We are, first and foremost, servants of our community, made up of people from all walks of life.
We serve our community without judgment. We seek to uplift each person’s spirit. We even take vows; usually vows of iniquity. Men and women from across the spectrum of the LGBT and allied communities join together, first as a Mission and then as independent houses of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to celebrate our human identity in the unique manner in which we minister to the community.
Today, The Palm Springs Sisters reach as many people in our local community as possible. We do this by hosting events, fundraisers, monthly bingos, toy drives, school supply drives, providing full-service bars for events, and personal appearances to help other groups. We are activists for humans and animals alike. We stand for fair and equal treatment, and against abuse, oppression, racism, bigotry, misogyny, and hate. We are dedicated to our mission, ourselves, each other, and our community.
